Gtd healthcare is one of the largest NHS commissioned Primary and Urgent care providers in North West England. We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Officer to join our Preston and Chorley hospitals.
The Operations Officer will have the opportunity to work within the wider operations team to meet the needs of the service, which will involve working in our localities. To provide support to the Operations Manager, Head of Locality and leadership to all staff in the locality ensuring quality of service delivery is maintained and developed in line with annual quality improvement plans.
The post holder will be a developing manager who will act in accordance with our vision and values. As an Operations Officer, you will act as a positive role model supporting junior staff whilst working flexibly within urgent care to provide quality, high performing services.

Main duties of the job
As an Operations Officer, your duties and responsibilities will include:
* Supporting leadership throughout our teams and management of the integrated service operations, ensuring quality standards and targets are met.
* Develop positive and effective working relationships with other gtd departments to facilitate the accurate and timely communication of information concerning patient flow, patient safety, operational issues, staffing levels and quality assurance.
* Promote positive and effective working relationships with commissioners, other health care providers and other key partners to support an integrated approach to high quality patient care.
* Participate in the maintenance of quality assurance systems and processes across the service and its activities.
* In partnership with other clinical teams, collaborate on improving the quality of patient care, flow and the shared use of resources.
* Support the development of effective methods of monitoring and quality assuring the performance of the Operations function.
* Actively promote the workplace as a learning environment, encouraging everyone to learn from each other and from external good practice.
* Work proactively within the team to support and develop user and carer involvement in service delivery and service redesign to ensure the development of patient centred care.
