Are you a passionate Geography teacher looking to join an Ofsted ‘Good’ school in Bristol with a focus on academic excellence and student growth? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a thriving Ofsted ‘Good’ school in Bristol, starting in January.
The successful candidate will be a Geography specialist, capable of teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level Geography for the right candidate.
Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a supportive and dynamic school environment.
The Role:
1. Deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level Geography for the right candidate.
2. Develop and refine curriculum materials that align with national standards while fostering student engagement and academic achievement.
3. Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth, achievement, and understanding.
4. Use data from assessments to inform teaching, address learning gaps, and support individual student needs.
5. Participate in reflective practice and contribute to the school’s improvement plan through self-evaluation and professional growth.
6. Engage with the wider school community, supporting extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. Experience teaching Geography in secondary schools, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
3. Strong knowledge of Geography content and pedagogy.
4. A Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related discipline (desirable).
