An exciting opportunity has arisen for innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivated qualified social workers to join our Statutory Specialist Services team which provides support to citizens of Birmingham who are experiencing complex circumstances such as No Recourse to Public Funds. You will have demonstrable social work experience, the ability to work positively as part of a team and in partnership with other stakeholders, together with an interest and skills to work with in the specific area of No Recourse to Public Funds. Successful candidates will also develop skills and take on work from Sensory Impairment. Working within the legislative framework, you will carry out social work functions, including working within a duty system, utilising relevant legislation to complete conversations and provide support and guidance, drawing on sound inter-personal and communication skills. You will carry a caseload and will require the ability to produce reports and the resilience to deliver under pressure within required timeframes. These posts are eligible for a £1000 recruitment payment and a £5000 retention payment. We are seeking enthusiastic and flexible candidates who demonstrate leadership abilities and are committed to working in a multidisciplinary setting.
