An exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant has become available to join our busy, friendly team at the Occupational Health Service.
The successful applicant will enable efficient and effective service delivery through administrative support to the Office Manager, medical staff, and nursing staff.
The role provides a comprehensive reception and telephone service, including welcoming visitors and service users to the department.
Duties will also involve maintaining the department's filing and archive systems for accessing medical records. You shall handle sensitive medical data and understand patient confidentiality requirements. You shall also be responsible for managing appointments and clinics on the OH online diary systems. You will assist with administration of various health surveillance programmes. You shall be responsible for administration of Research Passports and job hazard evaluation forms, as well as general administration tasks such as organising mail and filing.
You should have excellent organisational, communication, and administrative skills, including experience using Microsoft Office programmes. You will be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
The role is part-time (22 hours per week), working over three days a week, Monday to Wednesday. Due to the nature of this role, the post holder is required to work on-site for their full contracted hours.
In addition to the base salary stated above, the successful candidate for this post will receive an additional 2.5% supplement to their pay.
