Job title: Cook/Chef Location : Crowthorne Contract type: Permanent 24-36 hours a week Starting on: November 2024 Rate of pay: £13.50 The role : Working in a 80 bedded Nursing home. 24-36 hours a week. Assist the Head Chef in creating dishes which are balanced and suitable for special diets. Cater for special occasions within the home. Good awareness of stock levels and purchasing. Good understanding of due diligence procedures and monitoring of equipment. Be flexible with regards to duties DBS will be required for this role, client will pay for the DBS check. Maintain good kitchen hygiene practise's. Be able to work on own or with a team. Able to communicate with the residents to understand their requirements.
