Job summary
The department is looking for 1 Consultant Anaesthetist with a Specialist Interest in Chronic and Acute Pain to joinour busy anaesthetic department. The successful candidate will hold the FRCA or equivalent and requiresindependent practice in both Chronic and Acute particularly welcome applications from motivated individuals keen to invest in the development of our servicesand who will contribute to a positive departmental anaesthetic department are known for working cohesively and supporting one another not only in the clinicalsetting but physically and emotionally too.

Person Specification
Essential
Essential
1. GMC Registration - CCT in anaesthesia or equivalent or, if in training within 6 months of CCT
2. Fellow of faculty of pain medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FFPM RCA)
3. FRCA or Equivalent
4. Independent practice in acute and chronic pain
5. Experience as Specialist Trainee in a wide range of general anaesthesia including emergency and trauma anaesthesia.
Desirable
6. Experience in early management of complex regional pain syndromes
7. Higher training in regional anaesthesia.
