Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of those in our care.
Duties
1. Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
2. Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity while providing emotional support.
3. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
4. Follow individual care plans and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.
5. Maintain accurate records of care provided and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
6. Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge related to care provision.
Experience
1. Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn.
2. Strong IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively within the team.
3. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with residents and colleagues.

Pay: £12.82-£14.04 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
