They have an opening within their Regional Civils team for a Project Manager on the upgrade of Devonport Dockyard.
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of this complex high-profile project. You will oversee an experienced multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while meeting the high standards required for this critical national infrastructure.
As a Project Manager, you will:
* Manage the lifecycle of the project through to handover
* Ensure that expenditure is in line with the budget and that resources are
utilised efficiently to ensure cost control
* Ensure Project is delivered to a Health and Safety Guidelines
* Manage risk and implement strategy where necessary
* Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationship
* Provide regular updates to stakeholders
* Manage a multidisciplinary team including subcontractors
* Oversee cost, quality, and schedule in line with requirements.
You will have the following:
* BSc/MSc in Civil Engineering/Construction Management
* Proven experience working as a Project Manager on a Civil Engineering Project
* Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety
* Hold a valid CSCS/SMSTS card
* Experience working on an NEC project
* Strong stakeholder engagement and management experience
* Preferable ascending from an engineering background
* Experience in heavy civil or marine civil engineering preferable
