Job Title: Social Worker in Children's Services
We are seeking a passionate and motivated social worker to join our team in North Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a local authority that is leading the way in transforming children's services.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting children and young people who are at risk of exploitation, as well as working with families to maintain young people living at home while helping them overcome trauma and break away from gangs and crime.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creative assessment and planning with young people and families to understand complexities and risks faced by them.
* SUPPORTING CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE AT RISK OF EXPLOITATION.
* USING THE WHOLE FAMILY APPROACH TO SUPPORT FAMILIES TO MAINTAIN YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING AT HOME WHILE HELPING THEM OVERCOME TRAUMA AND BREAK AWAY FROM GANGS AND CRIME.
Requirements:
* BSc in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
* Social Work England registration.
* At least 1 year of experience within a similar children's social work setting.
