Vigilant House Manager needed for family in Hallow, Worcestershire
A family in Hallow has recently welcomed their first child and is looking for a dedicated and proactive House Manager to become a valued part of their household. The family is seeking an individual with excellent problem-solving skills who can implement a logical, structured weekly routine to help the household run smoothly. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role requires working closely with the family to understand their needs and preferences.
A keen eye for detail, forward-thinking approach, and ability to anticipate household requirements will be highly valued. The House Manager will take responsibility for maintaining an organised and tidy household. Light housekeeping duties will be required, including dusting, hoovering, and mopping for up to three hours per week. Additionally, the role involves managing household laundry, running errands, and handling food shopping to ensure the family’s daily needs are met efficiently. The ability to organise and declutter spaces will also be important, helping to create a calm and well-structured home environment.
This role requires someone who is not only highly organised and self-sufficient but also warm, attentive, and confident in providing occasional support with infant care. The ideal candidate will have strong maternal instincts and a reassuring presence, ensuring the family feels well-supported as they navigate life with their newborn. While direct childcare is not the primary focus of the role, the House Manager should be comfortable assisting when needed. This may include preparing bottles, engaging with the baby through play, and taking them out in the pram for fresh air. Some knowledge of early childhood development would be an advantage, as the family values a nurturing and stimulating environment for their child.
Above all, the successful candidate should be trustworthy, vigilant, and passionate about fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere within the home. The family is looking for someone who will take genuine pride in their role, ensuring that both practical tasks and family dynamics are handled with care and professionalism. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and compassionate individual who enjoys making a meaningful difference in a family’s daily life.
