We are looking for Bank Healthcare Support Workers to join us. We are a caring, compassionate and creative team aiming to deliver outstanding care to all our young people and their families.
We understand that looking after our staff's health and well-being leads to safer services and better experiences for our young people, and so actively promote supervision, reflection, training opportunities and team away days. This is a challenging but hugely rewarding role with lots of progression available to the right person.
Bank staff are integral to our services providing temporary staffing when needed. You will be able to book shifts up to 8 weeks in advance as well as pick up last minute cover.
A face-to-face interview at Chalkhill will be required. Please see the attached documents for full details on the bank recruitment process.
Main duties of the job

For example, this may include supporting a young person to develop coping strategies to help reduce self-harm.
You will be required to communicate with patients, relatives and carers and assist with clinical duties, including personal care and ensuring infection prevention and control standards are maintained.
You will also undertake personal care duties for service users in hospital, report patient's conditions to qualified staff and document care delivery in patients' notes.
You will need to use your strong communication skills, attention to detail and motivation to constantly improve the way we work.
