Job Description:
Longleat is seeking a meticulous and proactive Accommodation Cleaning Team Member to join our team and help us continue our tradition of hiring engaged and productive employees.
Our accommodation consists of seven exquisite luxury retreats, providing our guests with an unparalleled sense of exclusivity in proximity to all the action. These self-catering cottages have undergone top-tier renovations, seamlessly blending historical charm with modern standards of excellence.
Reporting to the Accommodation Supervisor, your role will involve upholding the highest level of front-line guest experience. You will be tasked with maintaining impeccable standards when carrying out changeover cleaning, sparkle cleaning, and bed making across our luxury properties, ensuring that each guest's experience is positive, well-informed, secure, and truly unforgettable.
Key duties will include:
* Cleaning and carrying out various housekeeping duties including changeover cleaning, sparkle cleaning, and bed making.
* Pre-checking in setup of each property for required comfort arrangements and collection, delivery, and setup of welcome packages and hampers.
* Pre-check in audits for the properties, setting up welcome packages, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.
* Monitor and maintain high levels of cleanliness in accommodation, storage areas, linen rooms, and all other working areas.
* Responsible for proactive maintenance checks and reporting through required channels.
* Coordinating any problems relating to the properties with the required stakeholders to ensure all issues are responded to in a timely manner, minimizing any disruption to the guests' stay and experience at Longleat.
About you:
* You will have prior experience working within accommodation or hospitality, including experience with cleaning.
* You must hold a full UK driving Licence due to the travel distances between the cottages.
* You are a confident communicator, with the ability to be proactive and use your initiative as some elements of the role will require you to work alone.

Your contract:
This is a fixed-term contract until 05 January 2025, working on a zero hours basis with work days including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays as required. The earliest start time is 8am, and the latest finish time is 8pm, varying in accordance with opening times. The position is available for immediate start.
