User account administration for network, email and additional applications. Liaising with 3rd party IT support vendors and activating disaster recovery plans.

Monday - Friday - may include evenings and weekends work dependant on training etc. Between the hours of 06:30 - 18:30 on a rotational basis not required to work the full 12 hours.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Administer user accounts for network, email and additional applications as required
* Supporting the group with the successful installation, rollout and support of new computer hardware and software
* Supporting the IT Support Manager with server administration
* Assisting with IT stock control, inventories and general house-keeping
* Assisting with general IT and Telecoms moves and patching
* Resolve IT and application support requests within agreed SLA’s (service level agreements)
* Develop and implement knowledge base articles for the team and wider group to use
* Collaborate with 3rd party vendors where necessary to resolve any IT related issues
* General administration relating to operational contracts
* Participate in and provide support on any DR (disaster recovery) plans
