We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Control Freaks in Holbeach on a full-time, permanent basis. This role requires an experienced Control Systems Engineer who will be responsible for design, software development, commissioning, documentation, and servicing activities related to machinery and process control systems from inception to completion. The projects you will engage in are diverse, highly specialized, and occasionally high profile. Proficiency with branded automation equipment (PLCs / HMIs / Inverters / Motion Control / Safety Systems / Robots / SCADA, etc.) is essential to ensure high standards of implementation and integration. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience and substantial practical knowledge of industrial electrical and instrumentation systems. Required Skills: Residency and right to work in the UK, ideally within commuting distance of Holbeach Friendly, reliable, punctual, and flexible demeanour Willingness to travel to site activities in the UK Structured and logical approach to work Ability to commute easily to our premises in Holbeach Ability to read, understand, and modify electrical drawings Ability to perform modifications to control panels and field wiring according to UK/EU standards Effectiveness throughout all stages of the project lifecycle. Qualifications and Experience: Completed an electrical apprenticeship and hold a minimum qualification of NVQ level 3 / ONC Or be a graduate engineer of a relative discipline Completed at least three years of working experience in a control engineering environment after completing an apprenticeship or university graduation Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Robust health and safety awareness Proficient PLC software development knowledge and skills A full UK driving licence Enthusiasm for continuous learning and advancement.
