Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Location: Bolton
Salary: Up to £35k

Responsibilities:
1. Log all equipment received for repair in the system promptly
2. Compile and store all relevant documents digitally
3. Assess mechanical seals and rotating equipment, creating detailed reports
4. Plan and execute the repair and manufacture of parts using the ERP system
5. Maintain cleanliness and suitability of components during assessment, repair, and assembly
Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:
1. Previous experience in an engineering environment
2. Proven general fitting and machining skills (turning, milling, etc.)
3. Experience with mechanical seals and pumps assembly and disassembly
4. Strong interpersonal communication skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This role would suit someone who has worked within the engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, or similar industries.
