In this Developer Services Coordinator role, you will be responsible for undertaking the design, coordination, reporting and financial aspects of new mains, diversions and services. A good level of organisation and attention to detail is crucial, as you will be processing payments and developer enquiries, as well as updating the department logging system and having a full overview of work being carried out by the department. Your coordination skills will come in handy when you are allocating work throughout the team to cover absences, and liaising with internal departments to ensure that designs, estimates and delivery of schemes are carried out within agreed timeframes. Previous experience in a customer-facing role is essential and will allow you to seamlessly conduct D-Mex calls and e-mails to ensure developer satisfaction and dealing with telephone, written and face-to-face enquiries and complaints. Technical and analytical skills would be desirable and help you hit the ground running, as you will be coordinating different aspects of the department and ensuring that quality checks are carried out. To carry out investigation and site meeting with developer, highways authorities, environmental assessors and archaeologists to plan the most optimum route for new mains. Providing developers with advice regarding requirements to water legislation, highways requirements, self-lay CoP, Diversionary works CoP, environmental impacts, and water quality requirements. Processing incoming developer and highway enquiries for mains (self-lay and requisitions), diversions and services infrastructure. Processing payments for all sites, diversion and connections relating to schemes being managed by Developer Services. Provide weekly and monthly reports on departmental performance and prepare job packs and method statements for developer services schemes. Ensuring that all work is covered in the event of holidays, sickness, or any other absence. To update the departmental logging system and companies work management system. To work with Engineering and Assets to ensure that offsite reinforcement schemes are delivered in line with onsite developer schemes. What do you bring to the role? 5 GCSE grades 4 and above (or equivalent) Customer service experience Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to coordinate and manage priorities well. Technical and regulatory knowledge would be desirable. What can you expect from us?
