Band 6 - £37,338 - £44,962 Per annum (pro rata if part-time)
Hours - 37.5 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working
An exciting opportunity has arisen on our Female Respiratory ward. We are seeking to recruit dynamic, motivated and professional Junior sister/charge nurse. You must be keen to learn and will be supported and developed to ensure that you have the skills and competencies to look after our most unwell level 2 patients. You will also be supported to develop your own management style, working alongside the ward manager.
The successful candidate must have good communication and organisational skills. A previous teaching/mentorship course. A background in Respiratory medicine is desirable but not essential. All Band 6 nurses are required to participate in internal rotation to ensure senior leadership over the 24 hour period.

• To provide clinical support and advice to junior members of staff
• To be responsible, in the absence of the ward manager, for total management.
