About the Role As an Audit Manager, you will manage a diverse charity-specific client portfolio, overseeing workflow and delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Client and Audit Management Oversee planning, prioritisation, and delivery of audit work to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to agreed budgets. Manage a portfolio of charity and not-for-profit clients, ensuring compliance with Charity SORP, UK GAAP, and ISA requirements. Act as the primary contact for client queries, delivering proactive, value-added advice. Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs across other service areas, such as tax and advisory. Ensure all compliance requirements are met, including AML, KYC reviews, and engagement letters. Oversee the work and development of junior members of staff. Help further develop the practice’s charity audit offering. The ideal candidate will be: Qualified: ACA or ACCA qualified with experience in statutory audit. Sector Specialist: Knowledge and experience of Charity SORP is essential. Experienced: Previous responsibility for a portfolio of clients, including preparation and review of charity accounts. Client-Focused: Strong client service and communication skills.
