Join to apply for the Clinical Fellow in Gastroenterology (Luminal) and General Medicine role at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.
This post is a full time, fixed term appointment at SpR level in Luminal Gastroenterology and General Medicine at the Bristol Royal Infirmary. The post is initially for a 12 month period, with the option to extend if appropriate and assuming progress is satisfactory.
The successful applicant will join a dynamic gastroenterology team, working clinically to support both inpatient and outpatient work. There will also be the opportunity to work in luminal research via established research links with the University of Bristol.

A regular endoscopy list will also be timetabled with additional endoscopy experience available via the daily acute GI bleed lists and adhoc inpatient lists. The remaining clinical time will be spent supporting inpatient work in gastroenterology.
Protected research time will be provided. There are several research themes within the department and the successful applicant will be able to discuss which project most suits their needs and interests.
High quality postgraduate education is provided through weekly gastrointestinal departmental meetings, the Division of Medicine Grand Round, multidisciplinary meetings in Nutrition, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Gastrointestinal Radiology. Attendance at Severn General Medicine and Gastroenterology regional training days is encouraged.
