Role Overview
Bromley Football Club is seeking a dynamic and driven Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations throughout our bars and event spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and creating vibrant atmospheres.
As the Bar Manager, you will manage staff and maintain high-quality standards in drinks and service in all areas.
Responsibilities
1. Supervise and lead the bar team to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.
2. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling stock levels to minimize waste.
3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Train and mentor staff on bartending techniques, customer service skills, and product knowledge.
5. Manage the staff rota to ensure effective service in all areas depending on business needs and demands.
6. Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, always ensuring satisfaction.
7. Maintain the bars to ensure they are always sufficiently cleaned and ready for any event or matchday we may host at the club.
8. Work with Head of Operations & Head of Commercial to host events in the bars/event spaces for customers.
9. Coordinate room setup before events or matchdays.
10. Work alongside Head of Operations & Head of Commercial to manage and lead the staff on Bromley FC & LCL matchdays in hospitality.
Skills
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar environment.
* Excellent leadership with a focus on team management and development.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Hours of Work
You will be required to work 40 hours per week, which will include Bromley FC matchdays, LCL matchdays, and some evenings and weekends as reasonably required in order to fulfil the needs of the business.
