Join our small team in an exciting time of implementing the national Police Leadership Programme across the Alliance. Develop and deliver key leadership training packages, events and learning interventions that will provide police officers, police staff and volunteers at Foundation, First Line Leader and Mid-Level Leader with the appropriate leadership and management skills to effectively lead teams. Support leaders to create an inclusive culture, improve performance, meeting standards, and to manage the increasing complexity and challenges of providing a service to our communities. The role also includes:
* Planning and organising courses and sessions as cohort lead
* Supporting events for senior leaders
* Creating, facilitating, and evaluating bespoke leadership interventions with individuals and teams
* Acting as a coach/mentor
* Providing professional advice and guidance in relation to leadership development
This role will require the post holder to travel to alternative locations on an ad hoc basis to undertake the role; travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with force policy. The selection for this role will consist of shortlisting and interview.

Salary: Scale F - Starts at £33,264 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £38,754 per annum. Please note that the above salary is based on working 37 hours per week. If this role is part-time or you are appointed on a part-time basis, your salary will be prorated to reflect this. Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Devon & Cornwall or Dorset Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same Scale.

Type of working arrangement: Hybrid Worker - Hybrid working is a form of flexible working where workers spend some of their time working remotely (usually, but not necessarily, from home) and some in the employer's workspace. Hours per week: this role is 37 hours per week.
