All training will be provided; candidates must have mechanical knowledge or machine technician experience.
You will be working to provide an efficient and effective maintenance service to machinery on-site within our factory. You will carry out breakdown repairs and PPM across our site to suit business/production needs as directed by the Engineering Leader or Manager, ensuring tasks are prioritized to minimize production downtime.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to work effectively both on their own initiative and as part of a wider team, and strives to achieve exceptional results.
To be successful in this role you must have:
1. Good fault-finding abilities
2. Ability to work from drawings/plans
3. Flexible approach
4. Good mechanical abilities
5. Proven knowledge from the fresh produce industry would be an advantage including multi-head weighers, checkweighers, and conveyor systems
6. Effective communication skills at all levels
7. Must be a team player with good attention to detail
8. Proven problem-solving skills
9. Able to motivate self and others in the team
Night shift Sunday-Thursday.
