Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Design & Build Project Manager to join our client and lead the successful execution of complex office fit-out projects across London. This role requires a deep understanding of design and construction processes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage projects from start to finish within a demanding environment.\n\nIn this role, you will:\n\nLead and manage all aspects of Design & Build office fit-out projects, from initial concept design through to completion, ensuring seamless integration of design and construction.\nDevelop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient and timely delivery.\nCollaborate effectively with architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and requirements.\nOversee the selection and management of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services, and maintaining high standards of quality.\nEnsure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards, prioritizing safety and a secure work environment.\nProactively identify and mitigate potential risks related to project delivery, including delays, budget issues, or technical challenges, ensuring smooth project execution.\nMaintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, drawings, schedules, and budgets, ensuring clear and organized records.\nProvide regular progress reports to senior management and clients, keeping everyone informed and ensuring transparency.\nIdeal Candidate Profile:\n\nProven experience as a Design & Build Project Manager on office fit-out projects, ideally within the London market.\nStrong understanding of design and construction processes, with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes and meeting client expectations.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and stakeholders.\nStrong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.\nA proactive and problem-solving approach, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and overcome challenges.\nQualifications:\n\nDegree or qualifications in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.\nMembership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is desirable.\nIf you are a highly motivated and experienced Design & Build Project Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional office fit-out projects in London, we want to hear from you!\n\nRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
