Description
Responsibilities include:
* Ability to understand a client or prospect’s business, situations, opportunities, problems and key issues.
* Ability to manage relationships and negotiate placement with the (re) insurance market as part of a team.
* Prepare client and prospect presentations considering needs of client and profitability.
* Help arrange and participate in client meetings such as client roadshows and virtual meetings.
* Help prepare and check market presentations and client documentation as appropriate.
* Assist the team with ongoing development, maintenance, and coordination around pipeline prospects – accurately maintaining in-house WTW systems such as CRM to assist with Business Planning and Forecasting.
* Assist with real-time loading of data into the relevant WTW Systems.
* Work with Client Relationship Directors, Account Executives, Brokers, Sales, Marketing, and the Structured Risk team in determining appropriate solutions and structuring and pricing of placements.
* Identify appropriate markets and assist the team with determining placing strategy.
* Create and grow relationships with underwriters in London and international re(insurance) markets.
* Ensure ongoing compliance with WTW guidelines and procedures.
* Understand, apply and where necessary explain WTW policies and procedures.
* Ensure good relationships and communication with other WTW colleagues.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
* Keen to learn and obtain a good knowledge of the (Re)Insurance market to address client needs.
* Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Good technical skills.
* Spanish language capabilities.
* Good presentation abilities.
* Ability to assimilate and apply large volumes of data and information and draw conclusions.
* Negotiation skills coupled with the ability to be innovative.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Able to prioritise, manage deadlines and work under pressure.
* Always operates with a sense of urgency and client-first attitude.
* Comfortable explaining complex ideas and making recommendations to clients/client servicing teams.
* Able to forge links between broking and client servicing teams.
* Ability to adapt personal style to work effectively with a wide range of clients, colleagues, and underwriters.
* Must be prepared to work with integrity and openness, always complying with FCA requirements.
* Good IT skills with good Excel usage capability.
* Reinsurance experience across Latam and Caribbean property is desirable but not essential.
* ACII qualifications or working towards the ACII qualification is desired but not essential.
