Ward F9 at the Wythenshawe site of Manchester Foundation Trust is currently looking to recruit a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to our elective day case surgical ward. Our general surgical directorate has a reputation for the highest standards of clinical care.
The ward looks after inpatient and day case mixed surgical patients with a range of General surgical, Urology, MaxFax, ENT, Breast, Plastics, and Orthopaedic patients.

Main Duties of the Job
We are looking for a suitably experienced nurse who is passionate about patient safety and the delivery of exceptional quality care to our elective surgical patients. You will be an aspiring leader with the ability to adopt a highly accessible and visible approach for patients, relatives, and colleagues. You will assist the Ward Manager with the operational management for the team working on the Ward. You will have the ability to develop a culture of continuous improvement with a particular emphasis on the patient journey and clinical outcomes.
