Role: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £42,000 + £45,000
Location: Midlands
Company Profile:
The client is a leading tier 1 main contractor, specialising in property services and they are looking for a shift engineer to work on one of their contracts in Northamptonshire. The Engineer will be working to a site-specific shift pattern to conduct all necessary M&E maintenance.
Purpose of Job:
1. To ensure client satisfaction and perception by providing effective planned and reactive Electrical and multi-skilled maintenance/repairs to site including processes and procedures.
2. Provide support and assistance to Account Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices.
2. Organise and, if necessary, assist in reactive repairs to the site's M&E systems.
3. Formulating, assessing and validating Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
4. Preparation of quotations to client when required.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Experience working in Facilities Management.
2. Either Mechanical or Electrical Experience.
3. Electrical - Qualifications to a minimum or equivalent to City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 18th Edition.
4. Mechanical - Qualifications to an acceptable standard to City and Guild's Mechanical.
5. Able to be mobile and respond to any urgent queries from the customer which may require site attendance.
6. Good understanding of the CAFM system.
7. Needs to be able to maintain high standards of service levels with the team.
