Job Description
Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as a Registered Manager, around Fylde Coast Area.
This position has a salary which rises to £62,000.
Primary Responsibilities/Activities
1. Offer leadership and management to a diverse residential care team which strives towards excellence in residential childcare provision.
2. Promote and facilitate the healthy development of the children and young people placed in residential care.
3. Protect young people from threats to their health, welfare and normal development, both from inside and outside the home(s).
4. Ensure that young people facing particular crises and stresses are offered appropriate additional support as necessary.
5. Encourage young people to carry as much responsibility for their own lives as they can reasonably and demonstrably be expected to carry, keeping them informed of their circumstances and rights, involving them in planning their lives, supporting them and helping them towards taking greater control and responsibility.
6. Chair appropriate meetings as required.
7. Perform On Call duties as required.
8. Manage the Ofsted inspection process to achieve the highest possible evaluation and Standards of Care.
9. Ensure all weekly and monthly checks are in line with the self-evaluation cycle to support the Reg 45 Audit.
