HGV Late Shift Supervisor = Monday to Friday 10:30am - 20:00pm
We also have HGV Technician roles in Liverpool paying £40,000 upwards

Tuesday to Friday 09:00am - 20:00pm
Monday to Friday 11am - 20:00pm
Monday to Wed - 08:00am - 17:00pm, Thursday - 09:00am - 20:00pm and then Friday - 08:00am - 17:00pm
My client, a fleet repair company, are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic HGV Shift Technician / HGV Maintenance Engineer / Fleet Engineer / HGV Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Workshop Foreman / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Mechanic / Workshop Supervisor / HGV Lead Technician / HGV Charge Hand / HGV Foreman / Late Shift Supervisor / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Plant Mechanic to join their site in Liverpool.
Aim of role for the HGV Shift Technician / HGV Maintenance Engineer / Fleet Engineer / HGV Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Workshop Foreman / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Mechanic / Workshop Supervisor / HGV Lead Technician / HGV Charge Hand / HGV Foreman / Late Shift Supervisor / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Plant Mechanic:
Key component parts being:
To Maintain and repair vehicles in accordance with Company Policy.
To apply professional technical methods and standards.
To communicate with the Customer and maintenance desk during and after maintenance / repair processes and immediately report any vehicle VOR to customer and to maintenance team providing customer a copy of the defect note.
To complete a given workload in an expected timely manner.
To complete and submit all associated documentation in an expected timely manner, this includes following all processes once implemented.
Have a willingness to accept technical training from internal and external sources.
To respect equipment provided by the company to enable duties.
Hold, or be prepared to train for, the relevant licences to drive or test vehicles and equipment.
Have knowledge of the DVSA standards for heavy and light vehicles.
Observe the company’s documented safe working practices and Risk Assessment.
To be always polite and courteous when dealing with colleagues and/or customers.
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment at your work station.
Key Responsibilities of the HGV Shift Technician / HGV Maintenance Engineer / Fleet Engineer / HGV Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Workshop Foreman / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Mechanic / Workshop Supervisor / HGV Lead Technician / HGV Charge Hand / HGV Foreman / Late Shift Supervisor / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Plant Mechanic:
·Ensure vehicles are maintained above the minimum standards required by the DVSA so that the vehicles do not fall below the minimum standards between scheduled service/inspection dates.
·Report reoccurring manufacturer issues to the Manager
·Assist in co-ordinate repairs on company assets.
·Ensure vehicles are maintained in line with the service planner.
·Undertake vehicle and equipment inspections, service and repairs, in accordance with company policy.
·Be Organised
·Good diagnostic ability
·Problem solving a must
·Good attitude to housekeeping
·Able to implement processes and efficient workflow
·Ensure high repair standards
·Hold Industry recognised training qualifications, City & Guilds, NVQ’s or equivalents, Time Served will also be considered
·Be familiar with modern fault code reader diagnostic systems
·Have a wide range knowledge of light vehicles to HGV vehicles
·To ensure all parts are booked out of stock and allocated to the correct vehicle, ensure your labour hours per job are accurately recorded and allocated to the correct vehicle.
·Support a team environment where staff help each other and recognise that they individually have a responsibility
·Ensure that you participate in any training and development that is required to enable you to deliver a safe and reliable fleet of vehicles
·Promote a safety and environmental culture in line with the company’s policies and procedures
·Have a great attitude to job efficiencies and housekeeping
·Ensure the workshop and yard areas fully comply with Health and Safety legislation and all risk assessments of work are adhered to.
