Description
As a Fleet Controller, you will be part of an established Fleet team responsible for the daily management of the vehicle fleet for the company. You will take a lead in controlling the day to day servicing, defects & breakdowns of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities
* You will liaise with Vehicle suppliers to ensure all orders are processed in line with agreed SLA’s
* You will handle vehicle service, defect and breakdown requests following company procedures and guidelines, ensuring minimal disruption to internal customers / contracts
* You will ensure SLA’s are achieved with minimum downtime
* You will investigate and respond to Internal customer / External Supplier Queries
* You will update fleet management systems
* You will assist in general fleet desk duties, providing support when needed for other aspects of the fleet department
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Problem solving abilities
* Excellent Customer Service Skills
* Knowledge of workshop practices and charges is an advantage
* Industry knowledge of light & heavy commercial vehicle industry
* Excellent planning, organization and time management skills
* Enthusiastic and proactive approach to your work
* Must recognise the importance of working as part of a team to deliver service and operational performance within a safe working environment
* IT skills, Microsoft Word and Excel would be an advantage
* Previous experience of fleet management software packages would be an advantage (Jaama Key2 in particular)
