Day-to-Day of the Role:
* Financial Record Maintenance: Handle all aspects of purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
* Financial Reporting: Collaborate closely with the accounting team to create and analyse financial reports.
* Ledger Management: Efficiently manage company ledgers and process business expenses.
* Invoice Reconciliation: Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
* Financial Preparations: Assist in preparing balance sheets and processing payroll.
* Budget Support: Contribute to budget preparation and forecasting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in bookkeeping.
* Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
* Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, with hands-on experience in spreadsheets and financial reports.
* Excellent data entry skills with a knack for numbers.
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Relevant certification (e.g., AAT) is preferred but not mandatory.
