Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Female Support Workers to join our incredible team in Bradford – BD15.
As a Female Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
We currently support two ladies at our Service in Bradford. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their lives - they have varied interests; from Zumba classes, pottery, swimming, theatre trips, and annual holidays.
What we're looking for:
1. A genuine passion for supporting others.
2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
3. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
4. A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract options:
1. 25 hour contracts, with ample opportunity to do overtime.
2. Part-time: flexible hours based on availability.
All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
Days: Between 07:00-10:00, 10:00-15:00, 15:00-22:00.
*Due to the nature of this service, we are looking for female only applicants. This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.
* An enhanced DBS will be required for the successful candidate (Paid for by Mencap, T&Cs apply).
