This is a great opportunity for a recent geology, applied geology, engineering geology or geotechnical engineering graduate to join a team of ground investigation contractors and consultants on a range of exciting projects in the South East. The Graduate Engineering Geologist selected will be:
7. Assisting with site walkovers.
8. Carrying out site investigations.
9. Soil and rock logging.
10. Groundwater and gas monitoring.
11. Preparing phase plans and carrying out phase 1 Desk Studies.
12. Training up to write factual and interpretive reports.
13. Work on in situ testing.
14. Observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental and geotechnical knowledge.
This Graduate Engineering Geologist position therefore requires applicants to have a minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geotechnical engineering or a relevant subject (MSc preferable), be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental/geotechnical skills and an ability show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands-on role. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, live commutable to Reading and have a full right to work in the UK.
