Communications and PR Manager
Location: St Austell, Cornwall
Salary: GBP43,250 per annum
Type: Full Time, 37 hours per week
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Communications and PR Manager who will promote the company's mission, values, and business while enhancing the company's brand image and reputation.
As the Communications and PR Manager, you will act as the link for Communications and Public Relations with the Ocean Housing's Head of Standards and Performance and the Gilbert & Goode's website and social media content creator.
The role involves the creation of engaging content for various channels, including corporate documents, press releases, articles, blog posts, social media posts, and website content. Along with promoting the Company values and behaviours, the role will create productive networks and develop positive working relationships with partner organisations and agencies.
Responsibilities include:
* Designing and developing a Communications and PR Strategy in collaboration with the Group Director of People & Culture and Ocean Housing Ltd's Head of Standards and Performance.
* Proactively developing an annual external and internal communication Action Plan and Policies for multi-channel key business messaging.
* Leading the management and development of Ocean's Brand Guidelines, ensuring consistent use and promotion of these guidelines.
* Creating and managing a media library with stock photos/images and the central management of all key company and performance data for consistent use in corporate communications.
* Developing and managing internal communications to ensure consistent, clear, unified, and positive messaging and alignment across all communications and departments.
It is essential that you hold a Foundation Degree or equivalent Level 5 qualification and have experience in leading and managing communications and PR service delivery.
You should have experience managing communications and PR strategies in a fast-paced and pressured environment, along with an understanding of media relations and social media management across different platforms and audiences.
You will possess exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Additionally, you should be organized, able to prioritize your workload, set work programmes, meet tight deadlines, and work independently.
