Tooling Supervisor - Automotive Component Manufacturing
Location: Sunderland
The Company: Automotive component manufacturing business is seeking a Tooling Supervisor to ensure machinery, resources, equipment, and systems run smoothly and reliably.
Job Description:
1. Manage direct reports including recruitment, performance management, reward and recognition, and training and development.
2. Plan, coordinate, and deploy technical resources to achieve operational goals and objectives.
3. Organize and deliver planned maintenance on time utilizing available resources.
4. Achieve KPIs, including planned maintenance adherence and time spent on planned maintenance.
5. Prioritize and close out routine activities, including ZIP audits, training compliance, layered audits, skill development, and housekeeping audits.
6. Drive collaborative and cross-functional working.
7. Manage the engineering stores area for equipment and tools.
8. Identify and intervene on issues that may affect the operation, escalating issues.
9. Lead planned maintenance activities, including technical improvement activities.
10. Ensure adherence to and entry of RPO and MTTR data (documentation of jobs/hours completed through electronic reporting methods).
11. Complete housekeeping and maintain cleanliness within own and related areas.
12. Champion the company's code of conduct, policies, and procedures.
13. Support the repair and maintenance of all process and facilities equipment in a timely manner.
