Techniche Global are supporting Electronics Manufacturing firm based in Andover with appointing a Production Quality Engineer. For this role the business are flexible with experience and background. They can consider Quality Professionals with a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in any manufacturing or production environment. Electronics experience is not required.
Location: Andover, Hampshire (100% onsite)
Salary: £35-£42.5 per annum
Duration: perm / full-time
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00; Friday: 08:30 – 15:30
Key duties & responsibilities
Supporting all other departments to ensure they remain compliant to the accreditations strategic to the Company. Primarily; AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485
Leading product quality in production, which would include containment, investigation, correction, implementation, and validation of corrective actions
Assisting in the development of a Continuous Improvement culture throughout the Business
Supporting the introduction of Customer lead Quality Initiatives such as Total Preventative Maintenance
To assist with the maintenance and development of the Company’s Quality Management Systems
To support in the introduction of any accreditations deemed necessary to reach the Company’s strategic direction
To support the compilation and review of strategic company and departmental KPI's
To identify and highlight opportunities for improvement in day-to-day activities
To work closely with all other departments to ensure cohesion and synergy between teams to achieve quality product to the customer on time
To undertake any other training/education identified by the company for career development Qualifications
Ideally 2 years+ experience in a Quality Engineer position within a manufacturing/engineering environment or simila
Knowledge of working to the following regulated standards: ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949
Experience in problem solving and investigation methods such as; 8D, CAPA, 5-Whys
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, data handling and analysis
Experience in planning and conducting supplier audits
Excellent communication & teamwork skills
