Community Support Worker – Strawberry Hill Location: Strawberry Hill, Northampton Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week - This post may require you to work day or night shifts, with notice given. Our main site is based in Hartwell, Northampton but we also have services based in Duston, Weston Favell, Hunsbury and Strawberry Hill. We are now recruiting Community Support Workers to support our clients in our new development in Strawberry Hill. Posts are full - time and will include a variety of days, nights and twilights. Working in the community dictates a level of flexibility and all our community staff must be available to work where required. No staff are employed to any one area or unit. Some community staff will work on a rotation of working on the main site and in the community houses again, as and when required. The job role: To work as a member of our Multidisciplinary Care Team in maintaining and delivering a high standard of holistic resident care 24 hours a day. To implement and effectively assist in the day to day running of all prescribed resident care packages and assist in meeting all basic care needs. Keep accurate and up-to-date residents’ information, recordings and general records. To assist in delivering personal care to residents whilst respecting privacy, dignity and personal boundaries. Maintain resident confidentiality/data protection in line with unit and policy. To take direction from senior community support workers with qualified professionals.
