Psychology Teacher
Introduction

The Department is led by an excellent Head of Department and is fully staffed. Teaching and Learning Responsibility points are offered to staff in the Department to apply for annually. The successful candidate is likely to be a form tutor.
Salary
Main Pay Range – Upper Pay Range (plus Fringe)
£33,074 p.a. - £50,470 p.a.
ECT Salary backdated to 1st August 2025.
Full benefit and protection of the School Teacher Pay and Conditions
Contract
Part Time permanent role. Full time available to candidates who can teach other subjects (there is a possible requirement for Humanities teaching).

What we’re looking for:
· Qualified Teacher Status
· First Degree or equivalent in Psychology/Criminology or related subject
· Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
· An ability to teach the full age range of 16 – 18 in Psychology at A Level
· Ensure effective learning for all students through effective teaching and delivery of well-planned and engaging lessons
· Assess, record and report on the development, progress, and attainment of all students
· Use appropriate strategies to ensure outstanding student progress
· Support the development of teaching materials and revision resources within the Department
· Support necessary intervention and/or enrichment activities for students to further develop their experience of Psychology and Criminology within the school.
