Job Title: Boiler Engineer / Heating Engineer / Breakdown Engineer (Domestic Gas Safe) Location: Sutton, Surrey (Serving South of the River) Salary Range: £45k - £55k with bonuses, commission and overtime offered. We are seeking a friendly Gas Safe Heating Engineer looking for a new opportunity with a supportive, family-run company. You will be the Senior Boiler Engineer so must be well-experienced. We are not a large corporation therefore you will be an extremely value team member. We are based in Sutton, Surrey, and our work primarily covers postcodes south of the river ( SM, KT, CR, SW, SE ). This position would suit someone who lives within a 45-minute commute of Sutton. Key Responsibilities: Boiler breakdowns, repairs and servicing in domestic, residential properties. Diagnose and fault-find on domestic gas boilers and central heating systems, including underfloor heating systems. Reactive repairs, servicing, (and supervising the installation of) boilers, cylinders, pumps, radiators, valves, smart thermostat systems and wiring related to central heating. Must have an up-to-date working knowledge of current Gas Safe and Manufacturer requirements/regulations. Sourcing parts and providing quotes in collaboration with the office team. What We’re Looking For: Gas Safe qualification (you can work under our company’s Gas Safe registration). Unvented qualification is required. Proven and extensive experience working with a wide range of boiler manufacturers. Strong knowledge of boiler systems and a broad understanding of underfloor heating, smart thermostats, and wiring related to central heating. Ability to carry out a wide range of gas central heating tasks. Up-to-date knowledge of Gas Safe and Boiler Manufacturer regulations. A reliable, hard-working, and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work. A friendly demeanour and strong team spirit.
