About the role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a student with specific learning needs in a mainstream school. Facilitate learning by working closely with the student Implement tailored strategies to meet individual needs Collaborate with teachers and specialists Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment Excellent communication skills Patience and compassion for supporting students Passion for helping students in their learning journey Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred but not essential The ideal candidate must: Must have the legal right to work in the UK DBS registered on the update system or willing to obtain one Preferred experience working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), though not essential. Comfortable and flexible in various classroom environments. Ability to assist the teacher both in and around the classroom Experience working with small groups of children.
