Locum Agency Manager - 12 months FTC Extremely varied opportunity to lead teams and help drive business forward Make a real impact in a number of areas and broaden your leadership experience Field based role with travel to Somerset and Dorset and an element of home working About the roleThe role of the Locum Agency Manager is centred around leading people and striving for high performing teams. You'll be developing people and training them to perform at their best and to the benefit of our customers. Recruiting and motivating team members you’ll enjoy autonomy and responsibility and be creative in your decision making. You’ll also be part of the Regional SW Leadership team. You'll be available to support our agency partners when required to ensure that our customers receive a seamless service whenever challenges or opportunities arise. You'll have a lot of variety in your role as you work with different teams and offices. With 39 customer servicing locations (agency partners) across the South West you may be asked to support outside of your local offices. Our agencies in the South West vary in size from £5m - £15m gross written premium income and are all different, with self-employed leaders. This is a unique chance to continue to develop your leadership skills in what can often be a pressurized situation that requires you to think on your feet and show resilience, calm and creativity. When not working in the field at an agency office you will have the option of home working or using an NFU Mutual office. We offer flexibility around our business requirements to maintain a healthy home and work life balance. Although this role is focussed on our agency partners in Dorset and Somerset there may be occasions when you become involved in supporting other locations in the South West. This role falls under Insurance Distribution Directive requirements, and as a result, role holders will be required to demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development in role, along with undergoing regular re-screening to show that they are of “Good Repute”.
