Our client, a Tier 1 Contractor within the Highways and Infrastructure sector, is currently seeking a Technical Coordinator to join their dedicated team in Milton Keynes. This permanent position involves leading a significant infrastructure project with extensive highway works, supporting the development and delivery of a large residential and employment project. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring Technical processes and procedures are followed as per the Technical manual & Specifications Supporting the Commercial and Built departments during procurement and construction phases Managing Consultant teams for RFIs, queries, and design changes Maintaining attention to detail and timely completion of tasks Keeping updated processes for Design Standards, Building Regulations, and other Statutory Bodies Managing Planning Condition and S106 obligations, and Development Agreement trackers Handling Consents and Approval trackers to ensure timely release of information by design team or subcontractors Assisting the Technical team in satisfying obligations as Principal Designer Contributing to package launches to the wider team Job Requirements: Experience as a Technical Consultant in highways or infrastructure projects Project Management experience in large-scale projects Strong ability to understand drawings, specifications, and schematics, especially in highway works including S278/38 and S104 Drainage works Ability to technically check and identify issues in Consultant design packs and their coordination Competence in assisting the Commercial department with design-related Compensation Events Good understanding of current regulations and legislations Experience in capturing lessons learned for future projects Understanding of design and planning processes Benefits: Salary (up to £60,000 basic salary) Car allowance (£6000) Discretionary bonus Comprehensive benefits package in line with the industry Opportunities for professional development Collaborative and supportive work environment This role will be based on-site in Milton Keynes, close to M1 Junction 14, with another project office located centrally in Milton Keynes.
