The Role: Digital Marketing Lead We’re looking for a seasoned digital marketer with a proven track record of implementing successful digital marketing strategies. As part of Enterprise Marketing Communications for Cox Automotive Europe, this role will be based in the UK. Your Mission: Own the performance of our digital channels, leveraging data and insights to optimise campaigns, enhance brand visibility, and drive customer acquisition and retention. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across European business units while maintaining a cohesive digital strategy. Develop, implement, and optimize our corporate digital marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives, driving brand consistency, and maximising engagement. Oversee end-to-end campaign planning, execution, and optimisation across channels such as SEO, PPC, email, and display. Deliver regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Leverage analytics tools to make data-driven decisions and continuously optimise campaigns. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring maximum ROI from digital investments. Ensure compliance and risk are effectively managed across all digital marketing activities, including data privacy, GDPR adherence, and platform security. Stay updated on digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and growth. Serve as a central point of expertise, providing guidance and support to teams across the matrix structure. What You Bring: Extensive experience across a broad range of digital marketing channels with a proven track record of lead generation, brand building, and digital marketing tools and best practices. Proven experience in leading digital marketing strategies and campaigns, preferably in a matrix organization. A degree (or equivalent) in digital marketing or business studies and IDM or CIM certification is ideal. Proficiency with marketing technology tools and platforms (ideally Salesforce). Strong expertise in SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and web analytics tools. Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align teams across different regions and functions. Experience managing digital marketing budgets and optimizing for ROI.
