What we are looking for: At least 3 years’ experience working in a communications setting, either for an agency or in-house An understanding of the Northern Irish media landscape and experience of working with journalists across daily and broadcast outlets Broader experience of working with media across ROI and GB national outlets is desired but not essential A good copywriter, capable of writing across a range of formats and channels An interest in the world around us A hunger to learn, an enthusiastic attitude and an open mind A desire to work at pace, learn by osmosis from industry experts, and deliver consistently high-quality work An eye for detail and accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal skills A creative mindset What you’ll need to do: A key member of the team utilising your commercial awareness and project management skills in the delivery of exceptional communications and marketing support services to your clients. You are at the heart of the account and the client relationship, delegating work appropriately to Executives as well as effectively managing upwards to your Directors. Your specific duties will include: Ensuring the effective delivery of all projects within your portfolio Advising on, and executing effective communication strategies on time and within budget Write press releases and op-eds, presenting good quality, accurate articles with attention to detail Supporting with new business proposals and presentations Attend client meetings Undertaking media and stakeholder research and provide insight that can help shape campaigns Draft concise and accurate communications including social media content planners, client monitoring reports, briefing notes and correspondence to various stakeholders Identify and support new business opportunities Build a network of business and media contacts Contribute to the marketing efforts of the team and wider business Equal Opportunities Our vision is to be a truly diverse and inclusive workplace that enables us to attract and retain a diverse workforce, representative of our clients and community.
