Location: Telford Depot
General hours of work: 42.5 hours per week, with varying shift patterns between 7am and 6pm, including some weekend shifts on a rota basis.

Responsibilities of the Traffic Management Coordinator
The Traffic Management Coordinator is a pivotal role within our utilities sector, responsible for building and coordinating all activities for our utilities contracts. You will report to the Contract Manager to assist in logistically managing the workload of a team of Traffic Management Operatives to ensure they are undertaking work at the expected standards, times, and locations.
Coordination and Logistics:
Responsible for the accurate building, reviewing, and creation of picking lists for all works onto our ERP system. Liaise with our client to fulfil capacity efficiently. Schedule planned and reactive works when required using all tools available to ensure we achieve our contractual SLA’s and KPI’s.
Customer Service:
Attend meetings with the team and client, in person and online. Provide information to our clients. Address customer enquiries and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
Financial Management:
Assist in maintaining financial transactions as part of the job building process to ensure we maximise our revenue and comply with contractual rates.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contract and operational delivery areas.
Communication:
Assist in answering calls from the client and customers, directing internally to relevant parties. Maintain effective communication channels with the contract team, supervisors, managers, and operatives to ensure operational efficiencies.
Learning and Development:
Participate in training sessions to enhance your administration skills. Develop a solid understanding of our contract and services to assist clients effectively. Learn the cross functions of the contract to assist in other areas when required.
What good looks like:
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Confident in working with Orion/SAP and other IT systems.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines/SLA’s.
* Excellent communication skills both face-to-face and over the telephone.
* Excellent negotiating skills.
* Ability to quickly resolve scheduling and logistics conflicts.
* Thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency in completing work tasks.
* Customer-focused attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Eagerness to learn and take a proactive approach to tasks.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
We would appreciate:
* Traffic management experience, but this is not essential.
* Scheduling & Planning experience, again not essential as full training will be provided.
