Job Title: Campaign Secretary – Ealing Multi-Constituency Conservative Association

Salary: £26,000 – £29,000 pa subject to experience
Length of Contract: Fixed term contract until 30th June 2026 (subject to 6 months' probation)
Responsible to: The Executive of Ealing MCA with line management by Association Chairman and Voluntary Party Manager for London at CCHQ
Summary: The Ealing Multi-Constituency Conservative Association (Ealing MCA) is recruiting for the full-time position of Campaign Secretary. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for: providing campaigning support for Councillors and candidates (ahead of the 2026 local elections); fundraising; maintaining membership records; and general office administration.
Job Details:
The varied role of Campaign Secretary includes responsibility for the following:
1. Building the profile of the Party and candidates locally
2. Developing an on-going programme of incumbency activities with elected Councillors
3. Recruiting volunteers and building campaign teams
4. Basic office administration and providing secretarial support for the Association
5. Ensuring membership records are kept up-to-date and new members logged and communicated with
6. Working with officers and VoteSource to grow membership numbers by engaging with new, existing and lapsed members
7. Driving an on-going voter contact programme, including phoning and door-to-door canvassing, supporting the Campaign Team
8. Building and expanding delivery networks
9. Maintaining and expanding a presence on multiple social media platforms
10. Working with officers to write/distribute association literature, such as a regular members’ bulletin
11. Supporting candidates as an Election Agent
12. Liaison with Conservative Campaign Headquarters (CCHQ) as appropriate, including receipt of Agent training
13. Assisting in organising high-profile political meetings and events with guest speakers
14. Assisting Officers in co-ordinating the events and fundraising programme and keeping records of funds
15. Data entry included marked register

The successful applicant will be based in our West Ealing office on a hybrid basis. It is essential that applicants have a flexible approach to their work and hours, to ensure that the varied needs of the Association, elected representatives, and candidates can be met.
