We are looking for enthusiastic and hard-working candidates to fill the roles of Outbound Operations Assistants. As an Operations Assistant, you will develop the skills required and work across the outbound operations teams to support our strategy goals and values.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
As an outbound operations assistant at Covetrus, you have the opportunity to become multiskilled in a variety of different operational departments within the outbound team. As such, you will be developing your skills by working in any of our future-driven departments and these duties can include the below:
Pick and Pack
* Loading of orders onto our advanced conveyor system and/or vehicle-supported order picking
* The advanced pick and pack of our technology-driven pick process throughout the facility
* The logistical completion of customer orders based on the geographical location
* Auditing and verification of product quality
Dispatch
* Efficient loading of customer orders onto our logistic network
* Orchestrate priority customer movements with the supply chain, including paperwork
* Ensure continuous supply of stock movement
* Opportunity to gain MHE qualifications
Physical Activities:
To have a level of endurance to support the customer support services with the supply chain that includes a level of walking, bending, and lifting to the set standards on the HSE.
Basic Qualifications:
* Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
* The willingness to train and learn new skills
* The ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
* Able to handle long and short multiple tasks, whilst working in a time-driven high-paced environment
* The ability to work overtime when required is essential
* Role model for safe working behaviors
* Good attention to detail
Preferred experiences but not essential:
* Previous experience working within a warehouse environment
* Competent user of Microsoft Office
* The ability to take advantage of opportunities to enhance business performance
