Working Hours: Continental Shifts (7am-7pm/7pm-7am – 4on 4off) Job Description: As a Instrument Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high health, safety, and environmental standards. Your expertise in electrical and distribution systems will ensure seamless operations across the site. Key responsibilities include: Conducting planned and breakdown maintenance. Diagnosing and resolving plant breakdowns. Performing electrical inspections, fault diagnosis, and repairs. Contributing to continuous improvement projects and upholding ISO standards. Supporting team training to achieve multidisciplinary skills. This position is integral to minimizing plant downtime and ensuring a smooth production schedule. You will work closely with process operators and vendors to enhance operational efficiency. Skills & Experience: Time-served apprenticeship in Instrumentation, Control, or Electrical discipline. Minimum 2 years of post-apprenticeship experience in Process or Chemical Plant maintenance. Proficient in electrical drives, MCC, and distribution systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with DSEAR regulations and hazardous area inspections. Knowledge of PH flow and level controls Exposure and knowledge of PLC’s Experience of working upon pneumatics would be advantageous for this role Knowledge of ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, and UPS systems. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. ONC qualification or equivalent / time served apprenticeship Why Should You Apply?
