As a National Account Manager, you will take ownership of sales strategy, execution, and growth across multiple retail channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales Strategy Development: Craft and implement sales strategies tailored to high street and discounter landscape. Define goals, set targets, and establish pathways for success.
* Customer Acquisition & Retention: Identify and onboard new customers while nurturing strong, long-term partnerships with existing accounts to maximise customer lifetime value.
* Territory Management: Optimise coverage within your assigned territories, planning effectively to capitalise on high-impact opportunities.
* Product Expertise & Promotion: Represent our client's portfolio with in-depth product knowledge. Develop and execute campaigns to enhance visibility and drive sales.
* Pricing & Negotiation: Balance competitive pricing strategies with market dynamics to secure mutually beneficial agreements and achieve profitability.
* Sales Forecasting & Planning: Set ambitious but achievable sales projections and action plans, backed by rigorous analysis of sales data and market trends.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, aligning sales efforts with broader business objectives and providing valuable insights to inform strategy.
* Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, providing actionable insights to guide decision-making and ensure targets are met.
* Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities, leveraging insights to maintain a competitive edge.
The ideal candidate will have proven success in sales roles within FMCG, ideally with experience High Street retail Or Discounters. Exceptional relationship-building skills and a customer-centric approach.
Package: £55,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
