Job role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Bromsgrove B60
Pay rate: £85 - £95 per day
Hours: Full-time / contracts
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for multiple SEN Teaching Assistants to work at multiple schools across Bromsgrove and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a 1:1 and small group basis with students aged 11-18 who may have MLD (mild learning difficulties). The students are all based in mainstreem secondary schools however will require additional support where needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 GCSE's, including English and Maths.
- Previous expereince working with students aged 11-18 in an educational setting.
- Strong communication skills, via clear, concise and effective means (verbal and non-verbal).
- Adaptable and flexible to support the individual needs of the student.
- Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
- Willing to complete a Level 2 Keeping Children Safe in Education CPD accredited course through Teaching Personnel.
Role Requirements:
- Working with students who may need 1:1 or small group support.
- Working alongside the classroom teacher to provide a safe and educational enviroment.
- Assist with before and after school activities where needed.
- Speak with parents / careers regarding the welfare and progress of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
