Responsibilities of the role are: Working as an expert in clinical field to deliver specialist clinical services to patients with breast cancer. Providing holistic needs assessment and individualised compassionate care. Responsible for the delivery of patient-focused programmes of care, which address the complex and changing health and well-being needs of this patient group. Working with other professional groups in secondary and primary care. Providing specialist, interdisciplinary education and training to other staff and students. Clinically manages and engineers the cancer pathway for patients with a diagnosis of breast cancer. Works strategically to influence and drive the development of the service both locally and nationally. Participation in/leading clinical audit in own area.
